dc.descriptionWomen and men’s position in society has been built on the generalization of an ambiance where sex difference has been structured in an inequality dimension, expressed in discriminatory relations and women’s subordination, which are reflected in all social structures including the law field. From the historical point of view, differences between sexes and legal inequality are closely related. Mutual difference between men and women was conceived as the difference of women with respect to men when the first ones empowered and established themselves in the human model. Ever since, sexual difference has meant legal inequality in detriment of women.en-US
dc.descriptionLa posición de las mujeres y de los hombres en la sociedad ha sido construida sobre la generalidad de un ámbito donde la diferencia sexual se ha estructurado en una dimensión de desigualdad, expresándose en relaciones discriminatorias y de subordinación de la mujer, las cuales tienen su reflejo en todas las estructuras sociales incluyendo el campo del Derecho. Desde el punto de vista histórico, las diferencias entre los sexos y la desigualdad legal están estrechamente ligadas. La diferencia mutua entre hombres y mujeres se concibió como la diferencia de las mujeres con respecto a los hombres cuando los primeros tomaron el poder y se erigieron en el modelo humano. Desde entonces, la diferencia sexual ha significado desigualdad legal en perjuicio de las mujeres.es-ES
