Descripción :	The purpose of this article is to provide the reader with the necessary information regarding Consular Assistance and Consular functions in light of the Constitutional Reforms on Human Rights of June 10th, 2011. Which is responsible for ensuring respect, protection, and safeguarding of Mexicans abroad when they face a problem of various kinds and do not have the possibility of immediately going to any foreign authority. The Consular function translates into the assistance provided by the state to its nationals outside its territory, through Consular Offices accredited in another State. This assistance covers arrested migrants, in prison under the custody of the authorities of another State. Foreigners in general must be informed without delay by the receiving state about the right they have to communicate with their Consular Authorities (Article 36.1 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963). As an example, Mexican tourists traveling to countries in the Middle East, Europe, etc. where sometimes there are movements of terrorist type, wars, bombings, and confrontations, of extremist and radical groups or global pandemics, as well as the recent Virus Sars Cov-2, where life and the safety of people who arrive are in danger when visiting these countries or even studying or working temporarily in those places. As well as to integrate those who are protected in the International Treaties of the matter that México has signed. El artículo tiene por objeto brindar al lector la información necesaria, sobre  la definición de protección consular, función consular a la luz de las Reformas Constitucionales en Materia de Derechos Humanos  del 10 de Junio de 2011,en México, a quien corresponde velar por el respeto,  protección y salvaguarda de los Mexicanos en el exterior,  cuando  enfrenten  algún  problema de diversa índole y no tengan posibilidad de acudir de  manera inmediata ante alguna Autoridad extranjera; la función Consular que se traduce en la asistencia que brinda el Estado a sus nacionales fuera de su territorio, mediante las Oficinas Consulares acreditadas en otro Estado. Esta protección abarca a los migrantes arrestados, en prisión bajo custodia por las Autoridades de otro Estado.  Los Extranjeros en general deben ser informados sin dilación por el Estado receptor sobre el derecho que tienen de comunicarse con sus Autoridades Consulares (Artículo 36.1 de la Convención de Viena sobre  relaciones Consulares de 1963). Ejemplo Turistas Mexicanos  que viajan a países del Medio Oriente, Europa, etc.  donde en ocasiones se pueden presentar  actos de tipo terrorista, guerras, bombardeos, enfrentamientos de grupos extremistas y radicales o pandemias mundiales como el reciente Virus Sars Cov-2,  en los que se pone en peligro la vida y la seguridad de las personas que acuden a visitar dichos países o inclusive, estudian o trabajan temporalmente en esos lugares. Así como integrar de manera clara aquéllos que se encuentran tutelados en los Tratados Internacionales de la materia que México haya suscrito.
