Description:	How do you confront the reader in training with the reading of those works that make up the historical-literary canon of the school? Undoubtedly, the reading of the great canonical works requires a certain linguistic and cognitive maturity, but, even so, there are various teaching strategies –including adaptations– in order not to prevent children and adolescents from the enjoyment of great titles. Thus, a review is presented on the adaptation of the classic Lazarillo de Tormes to the picture book Lazarillo (2019, Diego Pun Ediciones). The analysis of this modern and updated version of the pícaro (the rogue) aims to emphasize the concept of adaptation as a meeting point between literary theory and didactic-cognitive theory, highlighting adaptations as a strategy of confluence between the enjoyment of classical texts and the reading and literary competence of students in training.   ¿Cómo enfrentar al lector en formación a la lectura de aquellas obras que integran el canon histórico-literario de la escuela? Bien es cierto que la lectura de las grandes obras canónicas requiere de cierta madurez lingüística y cognitiva, pero, aun así, existen diversas estrategias didácticas –entre ellas, las adaptaciones- para no privar a niños y adolescentes del goce de los grandes títulos. Así pues, se presenta una reseña sobre la adaptación del clásico Lazarillo de Tormes al libro álbum Lazarillo (2019, Diego Pun Ediciones). El análisis de esta versión moderna y actualizada del pícaro pretende hacer hincapié en el concepto de adaptación como punto de encuentro entre la teoría literaria y la teoría didáctico-cognitiva, poniendo de relieve a las adaptaciones como estrategia de confluencia entre el disfrute de los textos clásicos y la competencia lectora y literaria del alumnado en formación.
